Army investigates shooting accident at training exercise

A SOLDIER serving in the Republic of Fiji Military Forces is admitted at the Lautoka Hospital for a gunshot wound allegedly sustained during a training exercise.
RFMF Chief Staff Officer Operations Major Saula Koro said the soldier was part of a military exercise in Drasa last weekend when the incident occurred.
“I have received information about the incident and I have been advised that there was an accident at one of our exercises,” he said.
