APTC graduates urged to use skills and knowledge

FIFTY-one Fijians graduated with Australian qualifications in 12 technical courses, during the Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) graduation ceremony in Nadi today.

The graduates join more than 3800 locals that have graduated from APTC.

Chief guest Fiji Higher Education director Linda Aumua congratulated the graduates urging them to use their new-found skills and knowledge to contribute to their workplaces in innovative ways.

A total of 18 students graduated with qualifications under the Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Machining) program including 14 employees of Fiji Water Limited.

Under a partnership arrangement, APTC delivered training to Fiji Water employees at their workplace over a span of two years.
