Anzac Day dawn service

FIJI joined other countries yesterday to commemorate Anzac Day in a dawn service at the Suva Military Cemetery.

It also marked the 102nd anniversary of the landing of the Australian Imperial Force and New Zealand Expeditionary Force,

which is collectively known as the Australia and New Zealand Army Corps (Anzac) at Gallipoli in 1915. The President, Jioji Konrote, members of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and members of various diplomatic corps, together with members of the public, were part of the dawn service.
