FIJI’S Health and Medical Services Minister Rosy Akbar lauded the ANZ Bank for funding and conducting the $15,000 refurbishment of the Lautoka hospital’s Children Oncology Ward.

Speaking at the opening of the facility today, Ms Akbar acknowledged the sacrifice and commitment of ANZ Bank staff from across the Western Division who gave up time with their families to work on the project.

She said the collaborative work with the private sector was a positive way of developing successful partnerships to improving Fiji’s health sector.
