The decision to reopen schools in a timely manner is one that requires great thought and consideration.

Education Minister Rosy Akbar stressed this while representing her ministerial statement in Parliament this morning.

Ms Akbar said the decision to reopen schools would made in consultation with all its stakeholders.

“Keeping the current situation and the uncertain future in mind, the decision to reopen schools on June 15 will be made in consultation with the Ministry of Health,” she said.
