MINISTER for Health and Medical Services Rosy Akbar has condemned criticisms by National Federation Party candidate Sandhya Bajpai on poor conditions of Fiji’s health sector.

While addressing party supporters at a NFP campaign in Nasinu two weeks ago, Ms Bajpai claimed Ms Akbar was a teacher and did not have much knowledge about medicine.

In response to this, Ms Akbar said Ms Bajpai’s comments were aimed to undermine the work of teachers.

Speaking at a FijiFirst party family fun day at Ratu Sukuna Park in Suva on Friday night, Ms Akbar said the FijiFirst party provided a secure and safer Fiji for everyone.
