Last Thursday (5/4) I went to Nadi International Airport to drop off a family member who was going to New Zealand in the morning flight.
The check in at the airline counter was quite quick but when he went to the security check before you enter the Customs area there was only one officer checking the passengers’ passport and there were about 60 or 70 people in front of him in the line.
I saw on the departure screen at that time there were seven international flights and just imagine the number of people going through the security check.
With an airport of international standard if we cannot provide the basic service, it gives us a very bad impression.
I hope the authorities concerned would look into this and improve the service to our travelling public and the tourists.
