Air travel services to the North normalises

Update: 5:00PM ADVERSE weather conditions had affected travel services in and out of the North over the weekend.

With air travel services fully restored from today, most shipping companies and ferry services too had also confirmed that they had normalised services to Vanua Levu and outer islands.

Patterson Brothers Shipping Ltd spokesperson Peter Patterson said they would continue normal services in the North tomorrow after servicing passengers who were stranded on Ovalau.

He said they had to cease operations on Monday because of the bad weather conditions.

“Operations are expected to return to normal on Thursday,” Mr Patterson said.
