MOTORISTS are being advised that the road will be reduced to a single lane on Queens Road in Navua from Monday next week.

This because the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) will be carrying out road reseals programme on Queens Road in Navua from Monday, September 23 to Friday, October 4, weather permitting.

The FRA says as a consequence, the road will be reduced to a single lane on weekdays from 8am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 7am to 5pm daily to allow for roadworks.

“A full traffic management will be present on site to guide motorists safely through the site,” FRA said.

“Travelers along the area are advised to expect delays and to take the notice into account when finalising travel plans.”

This project is part of the Road Reseals Programme for the Western, Central and Northern Division. For further queries please call the FRA on 5720.
