MOVIE-GOERS worldwide will get a glimpse of Fiji following the global release of American romantic drama Adrift in cinemas today. Some scenes of the $US60 million Hollywood film starring Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin were shot in Fiji.
The movie was shot for about eight weeks in Suva, Pacific Harbour and Rakiraki in July, last year.
The movie is directed by Baltasar Kormákur and is based on a novel Red Sky at Mourning: A True Story of Love, Loss, and Survival at Sea by Tami Oldham and Ashcraft Susea McGearhart.
