SEASIDE Boxing Club’s Ritesh Gounder has sent out a stern warning to amateur boxing champion Nathan Singh ahead of their bout next month.

Gounder, currently in Melbourne Australia, fought Australian gold medallist Caleb Kozab last Saturday losing by points taking the Australian the full four rounds.

“Come prepared,” Gounder warned.

Although losing by mere points, Gounder taunted his opponent and even left his mark, leaving a cut above Caleb’s eye in the fourth round.

“I want Singh to know I am ready for him and he should be worried.”

Gounder and Singh fight in a supporting bout as Fiji heavyweight champion Petero Qica defends his title against the upcoming Vilimoni Taganikoro.

Joseph Kwadjo and Savenaca Naliva also face off, in their much awaited rematch. They fight for the vacant Fiji light heavyweight title.

The South Pacific Boxing Promotion program will take place on October 26 at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
