“My mum and my two sisters have been my big inspiration and I will go there and make my family proud.”
Maliana also thanked her dad for the support he provided that enabled her to re-write a new chapter of their family history book.
She said it was through the support of her parents and the encouragement of her sisters that enabled her to be part of this Fiji under- 21 team at this year’s Netball Youth World Cup.
“I am excited to be part of the Fiji team at the youth world cup and I am looking forward to the challenge,” she added.
