Solomon Island import in the Nadi football side got the job done for them in an impressive 4-2 win over Navua in the 2022 Digicel Fiji FACT yesterday.

It took Nadi 12 minutes to break the deadlock when Barrie Limoki turned beautifully and powered in a drive to open the scoring for Nadi.

The weak Navua midfield struggled to keep up with the pace of the Nadi attackers.

Eshan Kumar took full advantage and blasted a pile driver from 25 metres, giving Navua stopper Senirusi Bokini no chance.

Nadi led 2-nil at the break and extended its lead 13 minutes into the second spell when Tuiba Batiratu fired a shot from 30 metres out.

Nadi was up by three goals when Navua made some changes and scored two goals in a matter of three minutes.

Isake Naduvu and Brian Charitar got a goal each to close the gap to 3-2.

Nadi sealed the win in injury time when Jaygray Sipakana placed the ball neatly past Bokini.
