NFP confident it will do well in role of Opposition

The National Federation Party is confident it will do well to fill in the role of Opposition in Parliament following the suspension of SODELPA (in suspension) on Tuesday.

Supervisor of Elections and Registrar of Political Parties, Mohammed Saneem said the suspension was because of a breach in the Political Parties Act.

Party leader Professor Biman Prasad said NFP was saddened by the turn of events.
