COVID-19: Two arrested for breaching self-isolation; 52 for curfew breach

Two people were arrested last night for breaching the self-isolation restriction.

This according to Commissioner of Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho who said another 51 arrests were made of which 32 were for curfew breaches and 17 for social gatherings.

He said policing operations had been beefed up as they work to ensure all COVID-19, TC Harold operations with regards to rescue and evacuation operations, the manning of evacuation centres and routine operations were covered well.
