800 to benefit from eye clinics

BENEVOLENT Missions International, an NGO based in the United States, is conducting a series of eye surgeries and clinics at the Sigatoka Hospital.

More than 800 people will benefit from the mission which also provides free eye glasses and medication.

Program coordinator Mira Patel said she was overwhelmed with the response from people seeking eye care and surgeries.

She also acknowledged the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort and Spa for supporting the BMI mission.

“We are glad that the work we do is so happily received by the people of Nadroga-Navosa,” she said
