730 players depart Suva for the Fiji Bitter Wairiki Sevens Carnival

A total of 730 rugby, netball and volleyball players will depart Suva tonight for the highly anticipated Fiji Bitter Wairiki Sevens Carnival that is scheduled to begin this Wednesday in Taveuni.

The teams are currently on board Lomaiviti Princess I awaiting departure at Narain Jetty in Walu Bay, Suva.

All players underwent stringent COVID-19 screening upon arrival at the Port this afternoon.

Vaccination screening was conducted by RFMF officers.
