FIJI 7s coach Ben Gollings has taken the challenge of finishing at the top of the HSBC World Rugby Dubai 7s next weekend.
Gollings said they were in a tough pool with Argentina, New Zealand and Uruguay.
He said the matches would be physical.
“They are three very similar teams,” Gollings said.
“But I think it is great for us to have that challenge that adds to the focus that we need.
“In Hong Kong we managed to pull that off very well. The pool wasn’t very strong but we had really set ourselves out.
“So for these two tournaments (Dubai and Cape Town) our target is to finish the pool on the top.
“If we do that then we will be on the right track. We have to play with that intensity that we are playing in the quarter-final and semi-final.”
Gollings said the three teams in the pool were all strong with their class of their own.
“We know about New Zealand and we know that they will be on a different side based on where they were in Hong Kong.
“Argentina will be similar. They are a team that wants to push. They are a very good side and will test us.
“Playing those tough matches will be important for us. So we want to start in Dubai very well and take that into Cape Town.”
