60 women graduate from vocational training centre

SINCE the establishment of the Makoi Women’s Vocational Training Centre, a total of 706 women have graduated from the institution.

This was highlighted by centre manager Shahista Khan while speaking at the graduation ceremony of 60 women from the centre.

“This centre was opened in 2015 and so far, we have had 13 batches of graduation,” Mr Khan said.

Courses offered at the institution include sewing, cooking and pastry, and hydroponics.
