THE 23rd Labasa Sanatan football tournament has attracted 48 teams this year.
Tournament director Sarju Prasad said they looked forward to more than a week of festivities.
“It’s going to be a great week for the teams here in the north. The tournament will be on for nine days,” Prasad said.
“We have divided the teams into 16 pools with three teams in a pool.”
Mr Prasad, who is also the President of the Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji, said this would be an opportune time for Sanatan followers in the north to get together and socialise.
The tournament will be played from November 9-17 at Subrail Park.
