A WORKSHOP which was opened today was aimed at informing stakeholders on final emission scenarios and actions that had been developed to achieve net-zero emissions through to 2050.

THE Permanent Secretary for Agriculture David Kolitagane highlighted this while officiating at the third National Stakeholder Workshop on Fiji’s Low Emissions Development Strategy (LEDS) today at the Grand Pacific Hotel (GPH) in Suva.

“It will set a baseline for the development and enhancement of our National Determined Contributions (NDC) targets. The essence of Fiji LEDS is to clearly state the vision of a low-carbon and climate resilient Fiji by 2050,” Mr Kolitagane said.
