31 recipients recognised for immense contribution

Fiji’s President Jioji Konrote today awarded another 31 recipients who have immensely contributed to the country’s development and progress in the past 50 years.

The Tui Namosi and SODELPA MP Ratu Suliano Matanitobua was among the recipients today.

Also part of the auspicious event were Patrick Bower, Graham Leung,  Chen Bun Young, Founder and General Superintendent of the New Methodist Church Pastor Atunaisa Vulaono, Former Governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji Barry Whiteside, Sumeet Tappoo, Albert Miller Senior, Raj Pati Kewal, Ratu Isoa Gavidi, Selina Lee Wah, Dr Aisea Konusi, Dr Mosese Ligairi, Ambassador Pundit Bhuwan Dutt, Dr Mansoor Ali, Dewan Chand Maharaj, Dr Virgilio C.De Asa Senior, Joe Rokovada, Jitoko Soko, Sawelio Raura, Indar Prasad, Emma Bovoro, Rusiate Korovusere, Dr Ratu Vereniki Raiwalui, Tammie Tam, Usaia Radrokai, Prakash Chand and Mohammed Ikbal Akbar Jannif.

Mr Konrote today thanked them for their contribution towards the country.
