30,000 masks for frontliners, landowners

About 30,000 KF-94 masks were recently donated by Nabou Green Energy Power Plant to Fiji’s COVID-19 frontliners and traditional landowners.

The handover was conducted at the plant which is located in Nakabi, Nadroga, along the Queens highway. Company director Gwang Hoon Goo personally officiated at the ceremony.

A statement from the company stated the assistance was part of the company’s support and corporate social responsibility program to assist Fijians in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The masks were handed to representatives from the Ministry of Health, Republic of Fiji Military Forces, police, Immigration Department and villagers of Navutu, Nadroga.
