Fiji was one of 94 countries that participated in the Good News Missions’ worldwide grand Bible seminar which was broadcast from May 20 to May 22.
Good News Mission Fiji said despite the COVID-19 lockdown, the Bible seminar was a huge success.
Broadcast worldwide, the coverage was also translated into more than six languages including English, French, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish and Korean.
The Rev Ock Soo Park, founder of Good News Mission, International Youth Fellowship, Gracias Choir, Christian Leaders Fellowship and president of Mahanaim Cyber College of Theology, encouraged Fijians to have hope and faith through the word of God.
Good News Mission Fiji said they knocked at the doors of mainstream television broadcasting outlets — TV One, FBC and Mai TV to seek assistance for the Bible Seminar and were able to have it televised in Fiji.
All the nation’s TV stations, including the Methodist Facebook livestream page were able to broadcast the event.
“In this broadcast, it speaks to the nation to rely only on the Word of God and believe that only his word will work clearly in our lives demonstrating God’s amazing grace,” said the mission.
According to Good News Mission Fiji, at the end of the week they had more than two million viewers who watched in the Oceania group alone.
