$2m salary for key executive managers

SEVEN key executive managers of the Fiji Sugar Corporations received a total salary of $2 million in the 2019 financial year.

This is an increase of $65,000 when compared with the previous year.

“Certain members of executive management group were provided non-cash employment benefits such as vehicle, housing allowances and medical insurance cover in aggregate value of $142,028 for the year,” the company’s annual report said.

The key management executives are identified as chief executive officer (Graham Clark), chief financial officer (Manoj Ram), chief operating officer (Nain Chandra -––resigned), general manager corporate services (Kameli Batiwati), head of business integration (Sachin Deo), head of engineering and capital projects (Martin Welch) and head of sugar operations (Mikaele Biukoto).
