$25m spent on students’ e-ticketing assistance: Akbar

GOVERNMENT has spent $25million on the e-ticketing Student Transport Assistance subsidy scheme in the 2018-2019 financial year, says Education Minister Rosy Akbar.
She said the initiative had benefitted 114,791 students from primary, secondary and technical colleges across the country.
She made the comments in Parliament in response to a question from Opposition member Ro Teimumu Kepa on the current status of the e-ticketing Student Transport Assistance subsidy.
