FIJI is ready to host the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tomorrow.

British High Commissioner to Fiji Melanie Hopkins confirmed this in an interview and said the royal visit to Fiji by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was for all Fijians.

She termed Fiji’s preparation ahead of the arrival of the royal couple as “wonderful and tremendous”.

Ms Hopkins said the commission had been working closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the President for months co-ordinating all the programs for the royal visit.

“We are so excited about this visit and I really hope that this is a visit for all of Fiji and it will be a great moment of celebration and joy about the special relationship and I know that the royal couple are really looking forward to coming to Fiji.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will arrive on a chartered flight to Nausori International Airport tomorrow before embarking on a three-day program.
