NO one understands and appreciates the needs of patients and those in need more than someone who has been in such situation.
These were the words of Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation manager Ambalika Kutty as the foundation gave equipment to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva yesterday.
She said the handover was part of their Vodafone Fiji Foundation’s World of Difference program’s way of giving back to the community.
“This donation is worth $20,000 and we spent about $24,000 on the container.”
Fiji’s biggest telecommunication network gave three hospital beds, one gurney, three commodes, three walkers and three shower chairs.
CWM Hospital medical superintendent Dr Jemesa Tudravu said Vodafone had always been a supporter of health services.
