2022 General Election: People’s Alliance leader, executive and church president taken to CID

Police have taken in The People’s Alliance Party leader Sitiveni Rabuka and party General Secretary Sakiasi Ditoka  at CID headquarters in Toorak.

Methodist Church President Reverend Ili Vunisuwai is being questioned at the Valelevu Police Station.

Police have sealed off the road and blocked both exits to the CID HQ.

Also present there are Deputy Party leader Lynda Tabuya and People’s Alliance Party candidate Filimoni Vosarogo.

Ms Tabuya said the Party remained steadfast and was not discouraged by what had happened.

And she called on Fiji to be calm and pray for the Party leader and the country.
