Transport will be provided for voters on Election Day and Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem said the service would be free of charge.
He said FEO was presently working with service providers.
“We’ve hired carrier vehicles as well as minivans and in other areas we had to hire some boats,” he said. “So we have developed a very comprehensive, multi division transport plan for the day.”
Mr Saneem said from Monday next week, voters would be able to go on the FEO website to get information about the transport schedule in their area. All the Advisory Councillors from the entire country are engaged for the project.
