Natabua High School speedstar, Adi Ceva Lutumailagi was emotional as she crossed the tape after winning the sub-junior girl’s 100m sprint event on day 2 of the 2022 Coca-Cola Games at the HFC Bank stadium in Suva.

The Namotomoto, Nadi lass said her hard work has been paid off and she thanked all her family, friends and the school for their support.

She said winning her first gold medal is a big achievement and she looks forward to what the future holds.

Adi Cakobau School settled for the bronze while Suva Grammar School took home the silver medal.
