2020 Tokyo Olympics: Sensational Tuwai guides Fiji through to semi-final

The Fiji 7s men’s side has secured a place in the Gold medal semi-final after a 19-nil win over Australia in the quarter-finals.

Australia proved to be a tough opponent, however it was a sensational performance from Fiji captain Jerry Tuwai which saw the Fijians secure a spot in the last four.

Tuwai scored two tries, one in each half while Aminiasi Tuimaba scored one in the second spell.

Fiji led 7-nil at the break.

Fiji will now face Argentina in the semifinal at 2.30pm tomorrow.

In the first semifinal, New Zealand plays Great Britain at 2pm.

The final is scheduled for 9pm tomorrow.
