AN impressive array of talent was showcased last night by the six contestants vying for the Miss Nasinu title at this year’s Vodafone Millennium Sinu Carnival.
Last night was Talent and Asian night.
Contestant co-ordinator Epeli Tuibeqa said the contestants were assisted by choreographers and others from the arts industry for last night’s performance.
“The talent mainly showcased interpretative dance, traditional and Pacific fusion,” he said.
“The points received by contestants from the talent night also contribute to their overall performance.”
Mr Tuibeqa also highlighted that despite the unfavourable weather, the public turnout to the week-long carnival was overwhelming.
Winners for all competitions will be announced on Saturday night.
