2019 Pacific Games: Team Fiji begins journey to Samoa

THE first lot of Team Fiji officials, athletes, sponsors and guests left Suva from FASANOC office last night for the Pacific Games in Samoa, which starts on Sunday with the opening ceremony.

Travelling on chartered flights, the first plane which departs Nadi at 7.30am today will carry athletes from archery as well as the men’s and women’s football teams.

Our own journalists who will bring you the latest from Samoa – Talebula Kate, Venina Rakautoga and Jonacani Lalakobau are also travelling on these flight with FASANOC officials, medical team and sponsors.

The second flight which leaves later in the afternoon will carry athletes from badminton, cricket, golf, lawn bowls, rugby league, swimming, table tennis, vaá, weightlifting, basketball, sailing, squash and tennis.
