2019 Pacific Games: Team Fiji arrives in Samoa

TEAM Fiji to the Pacific Games has arrived in Samoa to participate in the XVI Pacific Games for the next two weeks.

The first wave of Team Fiji athletes and players consisting of the archery, men’s and women’s football teams, medical team, FASANOC, Team Fiji sponsors and members of the media arrived this morning.

While the badminton, cricket, golf, lawn bowls, rugby league – men and women, swimming, table tennis, para table tennis, Va’a, weightlifting, basketball, sailing, squash and tennis teams arrived this afternoon.

The Games Village for this year’s Pacific Games in Samoa is at Faleula.

The Pacific Games opening will be held on Sunday, July 7, and the Sports program begins on Monday, July 8, 2019.
