2019 Pacific Games: Lal scoops gold for Fiji in half marathon

AVIKASH Lal won the 10th gold for Athletics Fiji and Team Fiji’s 34th on the last day of the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa.

The 23-year-old not only won gold in the half marathon but also set a personal best of 1hr 12.06s this morning.

Samuel Aragaw of French Polynesia won silver while Derek Mandell of Guam settled for bronze.
