THE Hibiscus Events Group will be in talks with stakeholders on the venue for the 2019 Hibiscus festival.

Other than that, there is no indication that Nasinu will host the event again.

But for this year, HEGI chairperson Hirdesh Prasad said HEGI had paid the Nasinu Town Council $20,000 for the use of the Valelevu ground.

He said the change in venue did not stop the crowd from coming and supporting the 2018 Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Festival.

Mr Prasad said the public response for this year’s Hibiscus festival was awesome and added that back-to-back festivals had turned out to be a success for the Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Events Group.

He said the last time a large crowd had gathered like this was during the Hibiscus festival at Albert Park.

Meanwhile Miss Charity Nikhat Khan and her sponsors Sinopec jointly sponsored by Autocare raised $35,000.
