SIXTEEN staff from the Ministry of Lands have been roped in to assist in this year’s Coca-Cola Games that is underway at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

The staff, most of whom are men, have been given the task to measure the jumps and throws in the field events for this year’s game.

Fiji Times Online has been informed by a reliable source that this is the first time for this to be done at the games.

So it is out with the old and in the new as the source says the old measuring tapes had caused discrepancies in past games.
