SERENIA Ragatu of Adi Cakobau School stopped the clock at 12.26s to win the gold medal in the senior girls blue ribbon event at the ANZ Stadium in Suva this afternoon.

The spring queen from the Rukuniveidakua in Sawani proved too good beating arch-rival Fane Sauvakacolo of Suva Grammar School who clocked the best time in the heats.

Sauvakacolo clocked 12.31s to win the silver medal.

Salote Baravilala of Jasper Williams High School settled for the bronze medal with a time of 12.32s.
