STAR Printery was appointed by the Fijian Elections Office (FEO) to be the official printer of the ballot papers for the 2018 General Elections following a tender process.

This was clarified by Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem yesterday saying the company was also the official printer for the ballot papers used in the 2014 General Elections.

“We appointed the printing company based on a tender process and once again Star Printery has secured the project under a tender,” Mr Saneem said.

As of yesterday, he confirmed that 20,000 ballot papers for postal voting had been printed.

A total of 764,850 ballot papers will be printed for the November 14 polls.
