RAIN failed to dampen spirits at Nadi Muslim Primary School this morning as thousands braved the wet conditions to cast their vote.

Young and old lined up at the polling venue where six stations were expected to accept 3283 ballot papers.

Residents from Namotomoto and nearby settlements were armed with umbrellas and raincoats before casting their vote.
