FIJI political party officials are entitled to observe the printing process of the ballot papers for the 2018 General Elections, says Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem.

Party officials were at the Star Printery factory in Raiwai, Suva, on Wednesday night when the Fijian Elections Office commenced the printing of ballot papers.

The FEO has also provided a party agents tent outside the factory.

“At random, they can go in and observe the process,” Mr Saneem said.

“The party officials are entitled to be present and observe the process.”
