2018 General Elections: Final results from 1027 polling stations

AS of 7pm tonight, a total of 47 per cent of the polling venues have been accounted for along with three boxes of postal ballots.

Fiji’s Supervisor of Elections (SOE) Mohammed Saneem said this was why the total number of polling venues had increased from 2170 to 2173.

With the latest result in official mode issued 1027/2173 at 7pm, Fiji First is now leading with 86,027 votes, SODELPA tagging behind at 83860 votes, while the NFP stands at 12,833 votes.

With the individual candidate results at 1027/2173, the top five candidates are: Josaia Bainimarama (FFP) leading with a total of 63,845 votes, Sitiveni Rabuka (SODELPA) with a total of 34,100 votes, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum (FFP) at 6525 votes, Biman Prasad (NFP) at 4686 votes and Lynda Tabuya (SODELPA) at 3846 votes.
