FIJI’S leadership must represent the voice of the people in its true sense, says National Federation Party (NFP) candidate and president Pio Tikoduadua.

He made this comment at the NFP campaign meeting with Nasinu residents at Rishikul Primary School in Valelevu last night.

Mr Tikoduadua said this was the time for people to exercise their choice and that the NFP had stressed that Fiji needed change.

“Fiji today really needs a soft spot among our leaders because our leaders in the past four years have never listened to the people,” Mr Tikoduadua said.

“Because it has always been the decision of two people and everyone has to follow, and of course I’ve mentioned that on many occasions.

“Now for no other reason that Fiji needs a change, this is why we need a change.”

A number of NFP candidates were also present during the meeting and they also had an opportunity to talk on issues they would be advocating on for this year’s general elections.
