2018 General Election: Village headman commends voter turnout

NASUKAMAI Village in Nalawa, Ra, had a good turnout of voters this morning when pre-polling started in Ra today.

With a total roll of 195 registered voters, 194 villagers turned up to cast their ballots.

Village headman Ilaisa Koro said he was happy with the turnout.

“We prepared for a long time for this day and I’m very grateful that people came out to vote,” Mr Koro said.

“I’m very grateful to the FEO officials as well for making sure that everyone cast their votes.”

The FEO team moved onto Vanuakula Village after Nasukamai.
