SUPERVISOR of Elections Mohammed Saneem has urged members of the public not to rely on social media but the Fijian Elections Office for updated results.
He said political parties should be very careful during elections and not give what he said was false information on their social media platforms.
“The people of Fiji deserve better in terms of information and the Fijian Elections Office is giving all the information and accurately and in a timely manner,” Mr Saneem said.

Meanwhile, the releasing of results to the FEO app has been paused to give political parties a chance to obtain the same information as FEO.Mr Saneem said they would not be loading anymore results onto the result management system.
