INITIATIVES like free school fees, subsidy on electricity and water, free milk for school children and free medicine will continue under a FijiFirst government.

This is outlined in the party’s 2018 manifesto that was launched in Ba last night.

The manifesto also highlights that VAT will remain at 9 per cent and the party will continue low or zero-rated duty on imported foods and other essential items.

It also highlights that wage rates would be regularly reviewed for all workers without loss of jobs.

The next review is expected to be completed next year.
