THE Fijian Elections Office will not verify provisional results that were made public during the counting process for the 2018 General Election last night.

Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem said they were going to set aside those results and enter the results on the result management platform fresh.

“Anybody who wants to check it, the Fijian Elections Office will not participate in such exercise,” he said.

“There is no second count or third count. The counts have already finished.

“These are the protocols of results that will be brought down here and data will be entered from those protocols of results.”

Mr Saneem added that political party representatives could be present during the data entry for the final national results tally.
