PREVIOUS governments failed to consider the needs of those who reside in the interior areas in Fiji, claims Minister for Waterways Dr Mahendra Reddy.

He made the above comment at the FijiFirst campaign meeting at Waikete Village in Tailevu.

Dr Reddy claimed previous governments only catered for the needs of those in urban areas because of what he claims that majority of the leaders were “controlled by wealthy individuals” who reside in the urban areas.

He encouraged those present to make the right choice and to tick the number 688 on November 14.
