2018 General Election: About 280 villagers cast vote

CLOSE to 280 villagers were at the Vatukacevaceva village in Ra to cast their votes.
Village headman Peni Vunisea said despite a late start, villagers were.excitee to participate in the pre-polling.
“We were supposed.to start at 2pm but we had to move it to 3pm because the elections officers came in a bit late,” he said.
“However, despite that every Vatukacevaceva villager was prepared to wait as long as they would have to just to be able to vote.”
The polling station had a total of 277 registered voters.
